Friends of Scouting Campaign 2020 – Giving the Dream!

Friends of Scouting is a critical aspect that helps keep the Scouting Movement alive and healthy in West Michigan. We ask that you please contribute to the 2020 Friends of Scouting campaign! The dollars support our local President Ford Field Service Council programming that benefits all Scouting units in the Council.

If you would like to contribute you may do so by contacting our Committee Chair, Mrs. Jodi Parrish, or contribute directly with a credit card through this link.

You may contribute whatever amount you feel is appropriate. Regardless of the amount, each contribution that is traceable to Troop 147 helps us in two ways: first, it shows Troop 147 families and alumni supporting the Council and Scouts BSA program, which Troop 147 is a part of and an active member. Second, if we have enough unique contributors, of any pledge amount, it provides Troop 147 with a participation score that can earn our Scouts discounts on various events (free camping nights, discounts per Scout on clinics, etc.).

Additionally, some Corporations and Businesses offer a match for contributions. The link is available on the donation page and provides details on any specific match information.

Please contribute whatever you feel is appropriate, but know that each contribution provides a positive impact for Scouts BSA!
